Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII

Synopsis

 

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII is the prequel to the smash hit, Final Fantasy VII, and also apart of the Final Fantasy VII Compilation. The production of Crisis Core was overseen by original Final Fantasy VII director Yoshinori Kitase, and original character designer Tetsuya Nomura.

Zack Fair is the main protagonist this time, a 2nd Class SOLDIER. Zack meets up with many original Final Fantasy VII characters, Cloud, Aeris (Aerith in Crisis Core) and Sephiroth to name a few. Many mysteries of Nibelheim are unlocked, and Sephiroth's behavior is explained, also how Cloud came to inherit the legendary Buster Sword.
